Vulgar Science is easily digestible health and health technology news to help you live healthier and longer
Hi! Welcome to Vulgar Science. Working in the field of cancer and biomedical sciences, I’ve learned how important it is to advocate for ourselves when it comes to our health. That starts with knowledge.
I started this blog with a mission to help the public keep up with important advances in medicine, health technology and genomics to help empower them to live long, happy healthy lives.
I received my Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from University of California, San Diego and was a Science & Technology Policy Fellow for the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington D.C. I currently work at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)/National Cancer Institute (NCI) where I advise on science policy.
This is my personal blog. Thoughts and opinions expressed are solely my own and do not in any way express or represent the views or opinions of the NIH/NCI. Contents of this blog are for entertainment purposes only and should not be considered medical or health advice. I can not guarantee the accuracy of data or statement made.
